Egypt & Arabia

All projects supported by A&K Philanthropy were chosen by the local A&K offices. Each project assists the immediate community whether it is associated to health, social, environmental or cultural restoration. As all projects have an element of volunteerism they each bring opportunity for A&K clients and staff to participate in further improving the community. Below are some of the projects AKP has sponsored in Egypt & Arabia.

"Madrasati" ("My School"), School Adoption Initiative
Location: Amman, Jordan
AKP Support: newly launched country-wide community school rehabilitation initiative. AKP has adopted the Balquees School which is urgently in need of repair near the Citadel in Amman.

Workshop for Handmade Goods
Location: Masr El Kadeem District
AKP Support: to cover the cost of building a workshop to train women and girls in traditional crafts.
