Your donation directly supports grassroots efforts. Below is just a selection of over 30 ongoing projects worldwide selected by A&K's local offices and supported by AKP. All visiting clients will have the opportunity to participate in these projects during their travels. Ask your consultant how you can make a difference.

• Chile, Easter Island: AKP is supporting the Rapa Nui Archaeology Involvement Program. This program combines archaeological research, education, and community outreach to train high school student volunteers in archaeological surveys, computers, field research techniques and issues of cultural conservation.
  
  
• Kenya: Through the Nyumbani Children of God Relief Institute in Nairobi, AKP in collaboration with FOC is sponsoring activities for children living in the home such as tree planting, Conservation Club projects and nature-based field trips.
  
  
• Croatia: To assist one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Croatia, the Botanical Gardens of Ostrog School. Established on previously neglected land by teachers & students and maintained by the school children, AKP has pledged to donate nature related books, plants and monthly maintenance assistance.
  
  
• India: AKP is sponsoring 50 children at the Deepalaya School which supports education of destitute and handicapped children. In addition, this project aims to assist in the education of female children.
  
  
• Egypt: In conjunction with NGO - Alashanik Ya Baladi, AKP will cover the cost building a workshop to train women and girls in traditional crafts in Masr El Kadeem District.
  
  
• Australia: AKP will buy back and rehabilitate degraded rainforest land adjacent to World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland.
  
  
• New Zealand: Support the hatching and raising of endangered and native Kiwi chicks outside of Rotorua, New Zealand.
  
  
• Jordan: AKP proudly supports a newly launched country-wide community school rehabilitation initiative. AKP has adopted Balquees School, urgently in need of repair near the Citadel in Amman.
  
  
• Tanzania: Traditional Beekeeping in Mwika Village near Tarangire National Park, Swala. Bees require a healthy environment to collect pollen to make honey. AKP is assisting in the preservation of forest resources, encouraging local communities to create and sustain a healthy environment and thus earn an income from nature-based tourism
  
  
• Myanmar: At Grace's Orphanage in Yangon, AKP assists 3 homes established in 1997 to improve the life of abandoned children. Visiting A&K clients will have the hands on opportunity to bring books, school supplies, basic necessities and 'wish list' items, interact and play with the children, assist with homework and see the children dance and sing.
